Former DPM Lamichhane to be presented before court today

Gandaki- Former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane is being produced before the Kaski District Court today.

He is in police custody for investigation on charges of misappropriation of financial co-operative funds. He was arrested in Kathmandu on Friday on charges of embezzlement of funds from the Sooryadarshan Savings and Credit Cooperatives Limited and subsequent organised crime and brought to Pokhara the same night.

President of Rastriya Swatantra Party Lamichhane remains in custody at District Police Office Kaski. Office spokesperson Basant Kumar Sharma said that Lamichhane will be produced in court later today.
