Israel Asia Chamber of Commerce delegates meet Aryal

kathmandu– a significant meeting took place in Kathmandu between the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security of Nepal, Mr. DP Aryal, and Ms. Anat Bernstein-Reich, the Delegation Head of the Israel Asia Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security. An 18-member delegation, composed entirely of women entrepreneurs from the Israel Asia Chamber of Commerce, is currently in Kathmandu to explore business opportunities between Israel and Nepal.
This delegation has met with the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual business development. They had previously signed an MOU with the Nepal-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, the President of the Israel Asia Chamber of Commerce had a courtesy meeting with Minister DP Aryal. They had fruitful discussions regarding the deployment of Nepali workers to Israel in sectors such as construction, agriculture, industry, and caregiving. Ms.
Bernstein-Reich emphasized the importance of leveraging government-to-government initiatives or business-to-business agreements to facilitate this process. She also invited Minister Aryal to visit Israel to further explore this opportunity. The meetings were facilitated by Shisheer Bhatta, President of the Nepal-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
