India-Nepal Crafts Festival-2024

Kathmandu- India-Nepal Folk Crafts Festival takes place from March 28-April 01, 2024, 10.00 am to 7.00 pm daily. The India-Nepal Crafts Festival (INCF) is an initiative of South Asia Foundation (SAF), to promote crafts based bilateral relations and to enhance artisans based cultural exchange programme between India and Nepal. This unique craft Festival starts from March 28-April 01, 2024 at Chhaya Center, Thamel, Kathmandu with free entry and open to all.

The exceptional 5 day long exhibition cum live demonstrations of various crafts will have exclusive arte-facts developed by artisans of India as well as Nepal. Attractions: Trade Facilitation, Cultural events, Live demonstrations of crafts, Design Workshops, Folk Arts & Crafts of India and Nepal, along with unique crafts of Varanasi.

The Craft Festival (INCF-2024) is being sponsored by Embassy of India, Kathmandu,
Embassy of Nepal along with various sponsors from Nepal and is organised by South
Asia Foundation and SAF-Nepal in association with Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN) and SAARC Business Association for Home Based
Workers-Nepal Chapter what is popularly known as SABAH Nepal is also partnering
with INCF-2016.

The exhibition cum sale will have more than 35 artisans/craft along with more than 20
participating artisans from various parts of Nepal. Cross-cultural Festival like this is an opportunity for an effective tie-up and comprehensive collaboration between Nepal and India for a larger participation in the field of arts and crafts, thus providing a platform to the artisans to exchange ideas and explore a large cooperation and promote trade between the two countries.
