State Bank of India ranked 236th on the Fortune Global 500 list

State Bank of India (SBI), parent Bank of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. has been ranked 236th on the Fortune Global 500 list of top companies moving up by 17 notches. SBI, the largest Bank in India with 1/4th domestic market share, serves over 45 crore customers through its vast network of over 22,000 domestic branches and 227 foreign offices spread across 30 major countries, according to a press release issued by the bank.
Nepal SBI Bank Ltd, one of the largest overseas subsidiaries of State Bank of India, has completed glorious 29 years of operation in Nepal and is providing its banking services in 51 districts of Nepal through 91 Branches, 21 Extension Counters, 7 Province Offices and 1 Corporate Office, along with 130 ATMs, adds the bank.
