Nepal, India sign MoU to recognize each other’s Covid-19 vaccination certificates

Nepal and India on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for reciprocal recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates.
The MoU was signed for the reciprocal recognition of vaccination certificate between India and Nepal was signed by ambassador of India to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra and secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Roshan Pokhrel, at a special ceremony organized at the ministry in Kathmandu, in the presence of health minister Birodh Khatiwada.
“This Memorandum of Understanding, is a significant step in easing travel for fully Covid-19 vaccinated travellers of both countries and marks another milestone in robust Covid-19 related cooperation and coordination between India and Nepal,” reads a press release issued by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.
