Hard Rock Cafe now in Nepal
Hard Rock International (HRI), a globally recognised company with 241 sites in 68 different countries. HRI officially opened its franchise cafe in the heart of Kathmandu, Durbarmarg, for the first time.
On a promotional event, Malcolm Chao, vice president for Asia-Pacific, Hard Rock Cafe International said, “the restaurant’s offerings go beyond food and drink and to ensure the long term viability of this lifestyle brand, we are focused on the tourists that visit Nepal as well as the local market, where the middle-class population is expanding.” And Sanjib Tuladhar, local franchise partner of the cafe, also expressed hisexcitement about bringing the franchise to Nepal, according to press a release issued by the company.
In the press release, they stated that on every Saturday the cafe will host live music daily and acoustic brunch which may also promote local musical talent. According to the cafe’s management team, the establishment has a seating capacity for 260 individuals. The cafe features a US-inspired menu and hand-crafted cocktails. The cafe also has a dedicated outlet where guests can buy official Hard Rock merchandise.
