Ncell’s free SIM bundled with attractive offers to senior citizens

Ncell Axiata Limited (previously Ncell Private Limited) has launched an attractive free SIM scheme bundled with attractive offers, focusing on senior citizens.
In this scheme launched on Friday on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons 2021, Nepali citizens of age above 60 can subscribe to Ncell SIM for free and take benefit of bonus for upto six months in every recharge of Rs 50 and more, said by the company.
Company also said that under this scheme in the first recharge of Rs 50 or more, senior citizens get 100MB data and 100 on-net SMS as a bonus. Similarly, they get the voice, data, and India call service at a subsidized rate for six months after the first recharge. It means; voice service is available at just Re 1 per minute, data costs only Re. 1 per MB excluding applicable taxes, while the customers are able to make calls to India at just Rs. 1.99 per minute, the company said.
Senior citizens can visit any nearby Ncell Centre along with a passport-sized photo and citizenship certificate to subscribe to this SIM, according to the company. “This scheme will remain in place until October 8.” Ncell stated that the scheme ensures easy and affordable access to telecommunications services to senior citizens, also contributing to help them stay connected with their loved ones digitally with data.
