COVID-19 case found in Nepal

The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed a case of COVID-19 in Nepal. A 19-year-old woman, who had arrived Kathmandu on Tuesday from France via the Qatar transit, was tested positive for the virus, said the Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Bikash Devkota at a press conference here today. She is receiving treatment at an isolation ward at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku.
