Chitwan- The people from the neighbouring district of Hetauda have been elated after the announcement of Hetadua as the State capital. They are happy to have the Bagmati State capital with the federalism in place.

A federal lawmaker from Chitwan constituency-2, Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel, said as Makwanpur is a small place, the neighboring Chitwan will also reap tremendous benefits from it. The people visiting the State capital are obviously likely to visit the nearby tourist destination-Chitwan.
Hetauda is just an hour bus ride from Bharatpur. Pokhrel reminded the neighboring places of any capital city to have thriven as big cities in the world, so it will be Chitwan.
