Partnership agreement signed
Baku- In a move to boost its business into the Information Technology and E-Governance, Kathmandu based out commercial entity Asia Corporation Pvt. Ltd. has signed an Investment Partnership Agreement with Azerbaijan based SINAM LLC, a leading Technology Company in the CISand Caucasus region. As per the partnership agreement signed between Asia Corporation and SINAM LLC both firms shall jointly conduct the feasibility study in the areas of e-governance like E-vis solutions, Data Center, E-signature Solutions, Fleet Management System, Implementation of Data Management System and cooperation in the sphere of Telecommunication Sector in Nepal.
Asia Corporation and SINAM LLC are motivated to cooperate with the government of Nepal in order to promote the Digital Nepal Campaign led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
SINAM LLC was established in 1994 and today it is Trans-Caspian market leader in e-transformation and e-government services. It has well-established offices in Georgia, Kirgizstan, United Arab Emirates, Russia, and the United States. SINAM is the company that developed the ASAN E-visa System for the government of Azerbaijan and the system has received United Nations Public Service Award in 2015.
Mr. Sunil KC, Chairman of Asia Corporation said that “we are excited about partnering with SINAM LLC, the market leader in e-governance to help the transformation of this sector in Nepal and also foreign trade investment in the areas of e-governance and telecommunication sector in Nepal”.
Both companies has agreed to promote the Public-Private Partnership Business Model in Nepal where the government of Azerbaijan and government f Nepal would be in the partnership. The Partnership Agreement has been facilitated by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in India led by Ambassador Dr. Ashraf Shikhaliyev.
