Family scooter destini 125 in Nepal

In keeping with its aggressive growth strategy for the Nepalese market, Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, today launched the country’s first family scooter with the revolutionary i3S technology – the Destini 125.
The powerful and feature-rich Destini 125 comes to Nepal within just a few months of its India launch, thereby, reiterating the strong focus of the Company in the important Nepal market.
Hero MotoCorp enjoys a strong presence in the scooter segment with its three powerful brands – the 100cc Pleasure, the 110cc Maestro Edge and the 110cc Duet. With the addition of the Destini 125, the Company now has a presence in fast growing 125cc scooter market also.
The Destini 125 has been attractively priced at NPR 206,000. The stylish new scooter will be available at Hero dealerships across all major cities in the country from April 17, 2019 onwards.
The new scooter has been designed and developed at Hero MotoCorp’s world-class R&D centre, the ‘Centre for Innovation and Technology’ (CIT) in the northern Indian city of Jaipur.

The Destini 125 has attracted a lot of attention since its launch in India and we are confident that the exciting new scooter will create a loyal customer base here as well.”
Hero MotoCorp forayed into Nepal in 2010 and roped in Nepal General Marketing Private Limited (NGM) as its exclusive distributor in the country in 2012. Hero caters to its customers through a network of over 250 touch-points across the country.

The Destini 125 draws its power from a new 125cc Energy Boost Engine, producing power output of 8.7 bhp @6750 rpm and maximum torque of 10.2 Nm @5000 rpm.
