Raj Brewery led by the Jawalakhel Group of Industries has launched a premium strong beer called Mountain Ice in response to the increasing consumer preference for strong brews.
Brewed to international standards with imported malts and select hops, Mountain Ice offers Nepali consumers a distinct premium product based on their taste preferences.
‘Brewed for Adventure – Real Taste, Real Beer’ reads the tagline of Mountain Ice which promises a strong, smooth and refreshing drinking experience with 6.5% alcohol content at a price of Rs. 230 for 650ml bottle.
“Mountain Ice answers the consumer demand for up-scaling to a world class strong beer that comes with a premium brand and premium packaging,” said Raj Bahadur Shah, Managing Director of Jawalakhel Group of Industries.
“The market for strong beer is consistently growing, and this trend is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. However, there lacked a good quality beer in this segment, where we stepped in with a world class brew that is value for money” said Sashin Joshi, Group Executive Director of JGI.
The product will debut this month in the capital and tier-A cities and will shortly be available throughout Nepal.
