The country’s largest infrastructure exhibition ‘CII ConMac 2018’ concludes setting up a new benchmark in the Infrastructure development of Nepal
The country’s largest infrastructure equipment exhibition CII’s ConMac Exhibition 2018” concluded today creating a new benchmark in the development of the infrastructure sector of Nepal and the exhibition industry as a whole.
The three-day event held at Sallaghari Open Ground in Bhaktapur was attended by more than 6000 business visitors especially from contracting community and infrastructure companies working on infrastructural development sector from across Nepal. CII ConMac 2018 Visitors expressed that this exhibition has set the new benchmark for the standard of an exhibition in Nepal in an aspect of grandeur, professionalism, the range of products and being focussed on Construction equipment. Many felt that this was a professional Platform for the Industry to showcase the technology and equipment for the growth of infrastructure and construction sector of Nepal. Inaugurated by the Hon’ble Physical Infrastructure, Planning and Transport Minister, Mr. Raghubir Mahaseth, on 22nd November 2018, CII ConMac 2018 presence of Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri,Ambassador of India to Nepal,Mr Vipin Sondhi, Chairman, CII Trade Fairs Council, Mr Mahesh Basnet, Member of Parliament, Bhaktapur Nepal, Mr Arvind K Garg, Chairman, ConMac Nepal 2018 & President, ICEMA, Mr Rabi Singh, President Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN) and Mr Virendra Gupta
Deputy Director General, CII concluded on 24th Nov 2018, almost all EXHIBITORS express their happiness as all have good Business inquiries and have been able to meet their customers at one point. Many also opined that CII’s ConMac Nepal 2018 has benefited not only the infrastructure and construction sector but also the economy as a whole in Nepal.
CII ConMac Nepal 2018 is the largest infrastructure exhibition of Nepal organized by CII(Confederation of Indian Industry) in association with Embassy of India in Nepal. The Participation Companies have expressed that exhibition like CII ConMac 2018 has been beneficial in strengthening the infrastructural sector of Nepal. Nepal needs to emphasize on infrastructural development and the modern technology that is required for this to occur. For a rapid pace of development, advanced technologies and equipment are also a want of the hour.
The Chairman of CII ConMac 2018 Mr. Arvind K. Garg, stated that the three-day event has been very productive and he expressed commitment to continue this cooperation from Indian businesses for the development of Nepal. He also added how he looks forward to more future events after this first undertaking for the development of Nepal. He further stated that this event will be helpful in fulfilling Government motto of Samridha Nepal for its contribution in the development of infrastructure like roads, bridges and hydropower projects for the further development of Nepal.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has organized Nepal’s largest construction equipment exhibition the CII ConMac Nepal 2018 at Sallaghari Open Ground from the 22nd to 24th of November 2018. In the three-day exhibition, more than 150 exhibitors have displayed an array of products and features across a 250,000 square feet area venue ground.
