Municipality launches mobile apps for receiving public complaints

Damauli- Bhanu municipality of Tanahun has brought into operation a mobile application to listen to the public complaints.
The local government has put in place the mobile apps for redressing complaints lodged by the general public.
To this effect, Bhanu municipality Mayor Udaya Raj Gauli shared the mobile apps has been brought into operation to inform the general public about the municipality’s policy, programme, plan, and budget as well as its performance.
The tool has been put in to practice for the convenience of the general public as the number of users of the technological platform has increased with the rapid advancement of information technology and internet access.
“Every people have mobile on their hand. Bearing this in mind, we have come up with own apps to inform public of their services and entitlements being delivered from the municipality office”, Mayor Gauli added.
He further said the mobile apps could be an effective tool for transparent handling of municipality’s works.
