Sea changes in nation’s development in a decade, Prachanda says

Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the grassroots level committees of the party would be constituted within some days to finalise the unification process of CPN. The process to conclude the unification up to the local levels is ongoing, Prachanda said at a greetings exchange programme organized by CPN in Chitwan today.
“The unification process will be finalized within some days at all provinces, district committees and local levels,” he added.
On the occasion, the former prime minister said that sea changes would be made in the country in coming eight to ten years in regard to nation’s development. Saying that the government was working its best, he argued that it would take some times for the result to come. “Revolutionary foundation is needed in infrastructure development, employment generation and production,” Prachanda said.
On the occasion, general secretary of CPN Bishnu Poudel said that physical development and humanitarian development should go parallel, and stated that socialism should be established in the country through development, prosperity and social justice.
Likewise, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth said that the incumbent government was committed to fulfilling the promises made by the CPN during the elections.
Also speaking at the programme, Chief Minister of Province No. 3 Dormani Poudel claimed that the government was working crucial works and the people would realize it soon. He opined that coordination and co-work between all three layers of government would help reach the development destination.

CPN leaders Surendra Pandey, Amik Sherchan, Narayan Dahal, Ananda Pokharel, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, Ishwori Bhattarai and others also expressed their opinions during the programme.
