Lhosar celebrated in Virginia

Great Washington Tamu Samaj has celebrated Khi Lhosar in Virginia in the United States of America (USA). Nepali ambassador for America, Dr. Arjun Karki attended the programme as a chief guest.
In the programme, Dr. Karki praised the promotion of Nepali culture through traditional costumes in foreign countries. The participants presented various cultural programmes on the occasion.
Among the performers were famous artists of Nepali comedy show Jire Khursani’s Shiv Hari Poudel , singers Ram Prasad Khanal, Manju Pun. Serko dance, the identity of Gurungs was also presented in that ceremony.
