First transportation app ‘MotorBhada’ launched
With an aim to digitize Nepal’s Transportation System, Karyalaya Ventures’ Information Technology wing Karyalaya IT has launched the most comprehensive dual-language Public Transportation App ‘MotorBhada’ and B2B app ‘MotorBhada Company’ for the first time in Nepal.
MotorBhada is the ultimate public transportation app available on both Android and iOS platforms that will change the way Nepali commute every day, according to a press note from the company. “With this app, one can easily find Bus Fares, Routes, search for nearest location to take Public Transport, Arrival Search, Live-Track Vehicles, Get Live Traffic Updates and Notifications across Nepal,” it reads, adding that the B2B app MotorBhada Company available for download in the Android platform, is for Public Transport and Transport Companies, NGOs/INGOs, Travel Agencies, Private and Government Organizations, Schools, Hospitals, Offices and any group or individuals to track their vehicles in real-time. “With features like Profile, Start, Notifications, Traffic Jam, Food, Malfunction, Accident, Strike, Natural Disaster, Road Construction, Medical Emergency and Security; now a company can track their vehicles and stay updated at any time with MotorBhada Company App.”
To avail the special service, the companies will have to register first.
“Though we are living in the digital age and talking about the smart city, the most important aspect- Nepal’s Public Transportation System was missing. So, to give information about the public transportation system – from bus fares to live tracking –on their smartphones, we initiated MotorBhada,” Karyalaya’s press statement further reads.
“We are constantly updating data in our user app MotorBhada, and as we start registering companies through our B2B app MotorBhada Company, the data will be continuously added in the user app,” it adds. “Therefore, we request our users to keep updated with our app.”
The founders of this innovative Public Transportation App are Prasun Timilsina and Sujit Dhaubajnar from Karyalaya, and solar energy entrepreneur Saurav Timilsina is the promoter.
