NOC hikes petroleum prices

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked fuel prices effective from Tuesday.
NOC has raised price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by one rupee per litre each, and that of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) – popularly known as cooking gas – by Rs 25 per cylinder. The aviation turbine fuel (ATF) has also been increased by Rs 3 per litre for domestic airlines and US$50 per kilolitre for international airlines.
According to the revised price list, petrol will cost Rs 102 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 79 per litre each.
The cooking gas will cost Rs 1,375 per litre and aviation turbine fuel Rs 90 per litre.
NOC has decided to increase fuel prices in line with the revised rates sent by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on Monday. IOC, the sole supplier of the fuel to NOC, revises the petro prices every 15 days.
