A 49-megawatt hydropower project based in Mewakhola (stream) of Mewakhola rural municipality, Taplejung is to be constructed. The Mewa Developers' Private Ltd has started basic-level works of the project.

A suspension bridge has been constructed over the Samrong river in ward no. 11 of Annapurna rural municipality, Kaski. The bridge serves the Annapurna circuit trekking route and was constructed with the help of the Kaduri family of Hong Kong. In absence of the bridge, trekkers had to walk for almost an hour to cross the river.
Wire expansion has begun along the under-construction Trishuli-Kathmandu 220 KV ‘Double Circuit’. The wire is being installed on the electric poles from Suryamati to Thansingh of Nuwakot since Tuesday, shared Upper Trishuli Three ‘A’ Hydropower Project Chief Fadindra Raj Joshi.
